How to Set Up a cPanel Email Account for iOS and Android

Note:

This guide is compatible with iOS 7.1

To set up an email account on your iOS device, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Other.
  5. Tap Add Mail Account.
  6. Enter the appropriate email account information.
    • In the Name text box, enter the name that you wish to use for the email account.
    • In the Email text box, enter your email address.
    • In the Password text box, enter the password for the email account.
    • In the Description text box, enter a description for the email account.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. The use toggle switch to select a mailbox type.

    Note:

    We recommend that you select the IMAP mailbox type. If you select the POP3 mailbox type, the mobile device's email client will download all of the email and remove the messages from the server. You will be unable to access those messages from any other email client.
  9. Verify that the all of the displayed information is correct.


  10. In the Incoming Mail Server section of the interface, enter the following information:
    • In the Host Name text box, enter the domain for the email account.
    • In the User Name text box, enter your email address.
    • In the Password text box, enter the password for the email account.
  11. In the Outgoing Mail Server section of the interface, enter the following information:
    • In the Host Name text box, enter the domain for the email address.
    • In the User Name text box, enter your email address.
    • In the Password text box, enter the password for the email account.
  12. Tap Next.
  13. Disable the Notes toggle switch and tap Save to complete the process.



Note:

This guide is compatible with Android 4.0.+

To set up an email account on your Android device, perform the following steps:

 

  1. Locate the email Applications button.
  2. Tap Setup an account
  3. Tap Add Other Account

  4. Enter your email address and password, and then tap Manual setup.

  5. Tap the desired account type.

    Note:

    Select the POP3 mailbox type, the mobile device's email client will download all of the emails and remove the messages from the server. You will be unable to access those messages from any other email client.




  6. Set up the following options:
    • In the Username text box, enter your email address.
    • In the Password text box, enter the password for the email account.
    • In the POP3 server text box, enter the Hosting domain (readysetgo.host) for your email account.
    • In the Security type text box, select SSL/TLS. This setting automatically sets the correct port.

      Note:

      Authentiication Required
      Use your email for username
      Enter password


  7. Tap Done.
  8. Enter the desired account name and display name. Tap Next to complete the Account setup process.
